SBI BC Channel Update: CIF Based Cash Withdrawal Limit Reduced to ₹5,000 Per Day

State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced an important update for all Customer Service Point (CSP) operators to strengthen transaction security and reduce the risk of fraudulent activities. As per the latest instruction from the bank, the daily transaction limit for CIF-based Cash Withdrawal/Fund Transfer has been revised. Earlier, CSPs were allowed to process transactions up to ₹10,000 per customer per day under the CIF-based withdrawal facility. This limit has now been reduced to ₹5,000 per customer per day. The revised limit has been implemented from 3rd July 2026 (End of Day) and is applicable across the SBI BC Channel. Why Has SBI Reduced the Limit? The primary objective behind this decision is to prevent fraudulent CIF-based transactions and improve the security of banking services provided through CSPs.
